Bap/Hap Information

Welcome to CAFE’s Breeder and Horticultural Award Program (BAP/HAP) information page.

BAP and HAP programs are designed to encourage aquarists of all ages and skill levels to raise and breed (or propagate) the fish and/or plants they keep in their home aquariums. BAP and HAP programs are not only fun to get involved with, but also help to preserve many species of plants and fish. Every year CAFE will award the “Breeder of the Year,” “Horticulturist of the Year,” and “Rookie of the Year” based on the number of points accumulated at the year’s end.
